“I make ceramics, paintings and prints out of a love and celebration of the wilderness in New Mexico, hoping that through art we can reinforce values as a community centered around a reverence towards nature, appreciation of craft and beauty, and a sense of belonging to the landscape of our home. The intention of my work is to strengthen connections to wilderness, inspire preservation, and reinforce a culture of fondness and gratitude for nature.

My work is inspired by folk art in my approach to imagery (animal and plant motifs found in textiles, pottery and other forms)as well as function. I create objects for daily use & daily inspiration which reflect a connection to place, and a vision of beauty and kindness for the earth.”
